About the Author
Sylvia Cary, LMFT, is a licensed psychotherapist and the author of five published books, five produced educational videos and dozens of articles which have appeared in national magazines. She was awarded the Clark Vincent Award by the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists to honor her literary contributions to the mental health profession. She has a “book-doctor” business which focuses on helping mental health professionals get published. In addition to the The California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, she is also a member of The Scriptwriters Network, Independent Writers of Southern California (IWOSC), Book Publicists of Southern California (BPSC) and Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA). Married to a Danish-born computer programmer, she has two adult daughters and three adult step-sons.
